We collect account information you provide, such as email address and profile details, along with project metadata, uploads, generated outputs, usage events, billing state, and basic technical information needed to run the service.

We may also collect logs, device and browser information, IP-related request metadata, support communications, and analytics data about page visits and traffic sources to operate, secure, and improve Create In Chinese.

We use your information to authenticate your account, process your uploads, generate subtitles and related outputs, maintain your project library, provide billing and quota enforcement, improve reliability, and respond to support or abuse issues.

We may also use service data in aggregated or de-identified form to understand product usage, reliability, and cost.

To provide Create In Chinese, we use third-party infrastructure and service providers for account access, billing, analytics, media storage, and processing tasks such as transcription, translation, and generation.

Your uploaded content and related metadata may be transmitted to those providers only as needed to provide the requested workflow.

We may use analytics tools to understand pageviews, traffic sources, device/browser usage, and rough geography for website visitors. Those tools may use cookies or similar technologies to measure visits and site activity.

You can limit some analytics collection through your browser settings, cookie controls, or available opt-out tools.

Project media remains in your library until you delete it or the scheduled retention window ends. Free media currently auto-deletes 3 days after processing, and Pro media auto-deletes after 7 days. After file cleanup, we may keep an owner-scoped project history record so you can see what was processed and when it was deleted.

Temporary ingest files may be deleted automatically after processing, and some logs or backups may persist for a limited period after deletion for operational, security, or recovery purposes.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers, when required by law, to enforce our terms, to protect users and the service, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition.

If a business transfer occurs, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect the information we store and process. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You should protect your own account credentials and review generated outputs before publishing them.

You can control some information through your account, billing settings, and by deleting projects from your library. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, or request a copy of certain personal information.

Create In Chinese is not intended for children under 13, and you should not use the service if you are not legally allowed to do so in your jurisdiction.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version here with a revised effective date.
